Harvest staff required on a 22,000 acre country estate in the heart of East Anglia growing combinable crops and root vegetables.

Roles will include but are not limited to: Carting combinable crops and root vegetables, irrigation, post-harvest cultivations, topping, general farmyard tasks. Dependent on candidate.

Modern fleet of Fendt and JCB machinery.

The successful candidates will be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a large team. Willingness to learn and a can-do attitude are vital.

Relevant experience is advantageous but training can be provided.

Forestry/Hedging Operatives

Would you like to work at a beautiful estate on the Norfolk/Suffolk border? We cover 22,500 acres and have a diverse number of teams running our farm, pubs, café, retail, Christmas trees and instant hedging.

Successful candidates will have experience of working in at least one of the following areas:

· Woodland/forestry sector

· Horticulture

· Grounds maintenance

· Practical conservation/habitat restoration work with machinery

You will be well organised, adaptable, and reliable. In view of the varied content of the roles, a background of having worked on a rural Estate would be helpful but is not essential.

We want to recruit people who will be supportive team players, who are engaged, self-motivated and thrive in a team or equally alone. Good communication skills are essential.

The roles are being advertised as full time, but we encourage part time applications too. It would be helpful if you state your availability for work in your application.

Overtime at an enhanced rate is available at busy times.

Key Responsibilities 

· Planting, plantation maintenance.

· Maintain equipment, machines, and PPE in good, safe, clean, and functional order.

· Ensure H&S responsibilities are fulfilled, including responsibility for your personal safety and others affected by your work.

· Carry out any other general grounds maintenance tasks as required.

Essential Skills

· Experience of tractor driving.

· Full UK driving licence.

· An interest in the forestry/horticulture sector with the desire to learn.

Other desirable qualifications include Spraying, ATV, other relevant NPTC/LANTRA/FISA qualifications or certifications.
