Elveden Festive Fair
With Christmas approaching, the Elveden Festive Fair on 19th November is guaranteed to get everyone in the spirit of Christmas. The fair will be a festive extravaganza of East Anglian food and drink, gifts, crafts, and Christmas themed entertainment.
Take a walk through the Christmas hall showcasing the best of local produce and an enchanting array of gifts and craft delights to fill your Christmas stockings. Indulge your senses with the hand-picked food stalls, offering the very best of local food from a variety of artisan producers. Discover delectable Christmas essentials to suit every taste, from fruit cordials to local salami.
There will also be traditional victorian fairground gallopers (carousel) which will arrive for the Festive Fair ready for the Christmas period.
Admission to the Festive Fair is free and it and will be open from 9.30am-5pm.
Christmas Begins at Elveden
Friday 26th November until 23rd December
Why not bring your children along to our Santa;s grotto, so they can tell Father Christmas what presents they would love this year, they will even receive a special present, for just £5 per child. The grotto will be open every weekend from the 26th November until 18th December. The grotto will then be open all week in the build up to Christmas from the 19th December until the 23rd December.
The famous Victorian gallopers (carousel) will be here every weekend from the 19th November in the lead up to Christmas The carousel which was originally built in Norfolk has featured in famous films such as ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ and ‘Half a Sixpence’. This traditional carousel will be offering rides and playing traditional music throughout Christmas, to add to the festive cheer.
If you are looking for a tree for your home, the magical Christmas tree area at Elveden will get your whole family in the festive spirit. The trees are all grown here on the Estate, to ensure the perfect traditional size for your home. The visiting Newfoundland dogs will also tow them to your car on their little wooden sleds.
Christmas Function Bookings
It's never too early to start thinking about your Christmas party bookings. Why not have your festive celebrations here at Elveden. We can cater for small groups of 4 up to 120 people.
The restaurant is open for lunch and evening meals with prices starting from £16.95 for two courses.
Available from Friday 25th November up until the 23rd December, with live entertainment by Danstar every Friday and Saturday night.
