Fresh Food Merchandiser
|
The Fresh food range is currently being extended and we are looking to recruit someone as the fresh food merchandiser.
Job role involves working with the food hall manageress to maintain a sales increase in the fresh food section by:
- merchandising the fresh food areas of the food hall to a high standard
- maintaining and checking the quality of fresh food including date coding
- cutting and wrapping a range of cheeses
- educating staff as well as customers about various fresh foods
- linking ambient products into fresh food areas of the food hall to increase customers average spend
- ordering fresh food under the supervision of the manageress
- Packing a range of fresh meats and fish.
To work 20 hours a week, 9am - 1pm 5 days a week (can be flexible for the right candidate with the potential to become full time), working some weekends.

Senior Chef de Partie

The ideal candidate for a Senior Chef De Partie role will have a quality background, have volume experience and be dedicated to ensuring that the best of methods are met and maintained at all times. Elveden farms provides an excellent environment to work in and this would be an ideal opportunity for an experienced and strong Chef de Partie. The ideal candidate will have previous rosette experience. The successful candidate will be leading a brigade of six, and should be able to work well in a team.
Your duties will include assisting the senior chefs in the general running of the kitchen, from ordering to the preparation and serving of cuisine to the highest standards. The candidate should be willing to learn, with the ability to communicate and train junior members of the kitchen team, reporting directly to the Head Chef.
